Memorandum No. 25.02.0000.014.11.003.13.628 dated 26/10/2019 of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works to fill the following (4th class) vacant posts of Grade-18 to Grade 20 of the Department of Public Works in Bangladesh. Conditions:
Candidates from all districts can apply for the above-mentioned posts. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 30 years on 25/03/2020. In the case of children of freedom fighters and the physically challenged, the age is relaxed up to 32 years. Birth registration / national identity card will be considered as proof of age. No affidavit of age will be admissible. During the oral examination, original copies of all the certificates have to be displayed and a set of attested certificates along with a printed copy of the completed application has to be submitted. If any
information or documents submitted by the candidate are found to be fake, false, forged, inconsistent with the conditions sought in the notification or forged or misused in the examination, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be canceled and legal action will be taken against him. The authority reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate who has passed the examination at any stage in case of misrepresentation of information / fake documents. The decision of the appointing authority regarding the appointment will be final. The authority reserves the right to cancel the notification in whole or in part. Any kind of lobbying will prove the ineligibility of the candidate for employment. If there is any inconsistency in the health examination and police verification even after the issuance of the appointment letter, the appointment will be considered canceled. The notification will be available on the Department of Public Works’ own website (WWW.pwd.gov.bd). Terms and conditions for filling online application form:
A. Anyone wishing to participate in the exam can fill up the application form on the website at http://pwd.teletalk.com.bd.
The application deadline is as follows:
i.
| Date and time of filling up the application form and submitting the application fee online: 10-11-2020 AD at 10:00 AM. | Last date and time for submission of online application is 10-12-2020 at 05:00 pm. Candidates who have received User ID within that period will be able to submit the examination fee by SMS within the next 72 (seventy-two) hours from the time of submitting the application form online. In the online application form, the candidate will scan his signature (length 300x width 60 pixels) and color picture (length 300x width 300 pixels) and upload it at the designated place. Since the information filled in the online application form will be used in all subsequent activities, the candidate himself will be 100% sure about the accuracy of all the
information filled in before submitting the application form online. Candidates will save a color print copy of the completed application form online as an aid for any requirement related to the examination. Rules for sending SMS and payment of examination fee: After filling the application form (Application Form) online, uploading the photo and signature as per the instructions and submitting the application form, the Application Preview will be seen on the computer with the photo. Candidates who have completed the application form correctly will get a User ID, Photo and a Applicant’s Copy signed. The Applicant’s Copy will be downloaded, printed and saved. Applicant’s copy will have a User ID number and using the User ID number, the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner for the examination fee of Rs. Teletalk will charge a service charge of Rs. 06 / – and pay a total of Rs. It is important to note that even if all the parts of the application form are filled and submitted online, the online application will not be accepted under any circumstances until the examination fee is paid. First SMS: Enter PWD <space> User ID and send to 16222.
Example: PWD ABCDEF Reply: Applicant’s Name, TK-56 / – (Fiftysix) (Tk 50 for examination fee & Tk 6 for Teletalk service charge) will be charged as application fee. Your PIN is 12345678. To pay fee Type PWD <Space> Yes <Space> PIN and send to 16222. Second SMS: PWD <space> Yes <space> PIN and send to 16222.
Example: PWD YES 12345678 Reply: Congratulations Applicant’s Name, payment completed successfully for PWD Application for post-XXXXXXXXX User ID is (ABCDEF) and PqSSword (XXXXXXXX). Admission will be notified in a timely manner on the website http://pwd.teletalk.com.bd and via SMS on the candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates). All the procedures related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone provided by the candidate in the online application form. It is recommended to keep the number active all the time, read the SMS, and follow the instructions immediately. Using the User ID and Password sent in the SMS, the candidate will then download and print the color of the admission card containing the information of the rail number, position name, picture, date of examination, time and place/center name etc. The candidate must show the admit card at the time of participation in the written test and if passed, at the time of the oral test; Candidates can retrieve their respective User ID and Password only from Teletalk Prepaid Mobile Phone by following the following SMS procedure.
